Weekly Round Up Feb 26th

FOODIE:

A local friend in Austin turned me onto OMG Cookie Butter, She said when she has a sweet tooth she just scoops it out and eats it like cookie dough. Um, I love cookie dough - and because it’s packed with healthy superfoods and antioxidants, it’s a great alternative for that little sweet bite.

AT HOME:

Part of my 2023 goals is to be more balanced and intuitive in my daily life. A huge part of this is learning to find quiet, and these Loop Earplugs have been absolutely essential. I originally bought their “Quiet” model to use on airplanes, but realized they’re good for so much more. I use them while I’m doing focused deep work, while I’m relaxing at home, and even when I’m sleeping.

BOOKS:

On the topic of quiet, I’ve been reading the book Golden: The Power of Silence in a World of Noise. As soon as I heard about this book, I knew I would be hooked. I’m on my own personal journey of finding stillness in a busy life, so I was curious not only from a data perspective but a practical perspective, where I could find tips to optimize right away. We live every day in a world of stimulants, and learning to find silence and stillness in any environment is truly a skill to keep your cool!
