Weekly Round Up August 21st
FOODIE:
I don’t know about you, but I’m a snacker. I’m on the hunt to consume more protein-focused healthy snacks this summer and ran across this blog post. Loving the cucumber & turkey wrap. Perfect for a weekend or weekday snack. What’s one of your favorite snacks? Hit reply!
AT HOME:
I’m finding how much energy I get from being home and in a routine when not traveling. One of my favorite things about being home is my morning routine. I wake up, make a hot lemon and water, made an egg in my little green pan, get my Vitamins in my vintage bowl and divulge in a sprint of 30 min e-mails. I love a good to-do list and I'm religious about using Milanote to create a task list of the day for the top 3 tasks, need to do's. I’m a huge fan of the Pomodoro Method of time management.
BOOKS:
In some of my accountability groups we’ve been having an ongoing conversation about working smarter. It was a refresher to download the audible for Tim Ferriss’ 4-Hour Work Week. I don’t know if it’s the end of summer, or just wanting to refine my processes for the second half of the year, but I look forward to refining what it is I want my life to look like for this next year. More efficiencies, please! 🙋🏻♀️
BUSINESS:
One of my favorite people & SEO experts for small event-based business owners is doing her annual SEO Bootcamp. If you have questioned if your website is working for you, this opportunity is for you — if you want to have the peace of mind that you’re optimizing your SEO to current tech, this is for you. She makes it incredibly easy and actionable for a topic that is so overwhelming. Highly recommend — you can use this link to get more info and hurry, opportunity closes TOMORROW!!
PERSONAL:
The last few months have been incredibly stressful, and then the last few weeks things have just felt a little out of control and heavy with the world around us. It was important to me to re-calibrate, and I reached out to some of my friends who shared their insights about managing stress and anxiety. Be sure to give it a download. Hear from over 50+ event small business owners who are in the same shoes we are. They vulnerably share their expertise and honestly on managing stress and anxiety.
