Weekly Round Up July 17th
FOODIE:
This summer, I’ve been working on a new snack recipe and crafted a Mojito Watermelon snack. I made it for the gift-opening brunch after my brother’s wedding and will be eating it for the rest of summer for sure!
Mojito Watermelon Salad 🍉
Ingredients:
1 lime of zest, sliced, plus 2 tbsp lime juice
Personal watermelon, rind discarded and cut into chunks
1/4 cup minced mint
Flaky sea salt to taste
1/4 cup Pistachios (optional)
Instructions:
Place watermelon chunks in large bowl and lightly dust with sea salt. Toss lime zest, minced fresh mint and juice in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper and stir.
Pour liquid over cut watermelon. Toss lightly to combine. As a bonus, top with pistachios. Chill and serve.
AT HOME:
My newest obsession was a gift from a friend and it’s Rose Vibes flavor drops that are anti-viral, gut healthy, skin glowing and sooo yummy. I try and drink a gallon of water a day and these drops just make it extra desirable throughout the day. I’ve already bought some for friends!
BOOKS:
Over my birthday at the end of last month, I wanted a little escapism of a novel and I have been getting countless recommendations for The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo: A Novel. It did not disappoint. So many twists and turns and I devoured it in a couple days.
BUSINESS:
