Weekly Round Up Oct 9th
FOODIE:
I love experimenting in the kitchen. This last week I made Persian Kefta for the first time. Think a meatball with dried fruit in a tomato-based sauce. I was inspired by Andy Baraghani who recently came out with his book The Cook You Want to Be Everyday — I did a spin on this recipe but added raisins to the meatballs and a side of tiziki. Fun flavor, easy to make and excited to keep experimenting with this style. Catch his YouTube making the dish and ingredients here.
AT HOME:
I'm back on the road this week in NYC and when traveling, the best way to bring home to you is to ensure you have some routine and home amenities. I like to ensure I have all my beauty products in mini sizes. Right now I am obsessed with the Osea Brand based in Malibu - the body oil is a must-have at home and on the road! I’ve bought every size.
BUSINESS:
I’ve been saying the best thing you can do in your business for marketing is networking! It is free and the investment into relationships is going to live for years in the future and when we all grow together it can leverage our businesses in a huge way! If you plan to head to Vegas for Wedding MBA in November, you won’t want to miss this — Conference Confident at Wedding MBA! Take advantage of this small accountability group within this huge conference to make friends for a lifetime and really check things off of your to-do list! Use KALEIGH at check out for $25 off a Conference Confident ticket!
BOOKS:
Coming back from my Europe travel last month I had two fiction paperback books along for the ride — fun reads to add to your list! — A Novel Obsession by Caitlin Barasch and Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney.
