Do you realize there is only one of you on the entire planet?! Your unique physical and mental makeup is one of a kind. The way you see the world is your gift to all of us as you serve people and create unforgettable experiences that will live on beyond you.

Of course, we all have imposter syndrome, and we want more for ourselves to achieve a limitless career and profitable business but we typically fail to reflect on the humbling wins of “yep, I did that”, “yep, I created that”, “yep, I earned this relationship”. 

As someone who is always driven towards “if I’m not first I’m last” mentality, I feel like I have had to be intentional this year about “pinch-me” moments. I want to remind you today of what you’ve accomplished so far in your career. What you have EARNED. Maybe you’re just starting, maybe you’ve been at it for 20+ years but you’ve come a long way. You should be so proud of the work it takes to get someone to pay you for your services. What an honor it is to get a client to give a review. What a true honor it is to get a referral. 

I spoke to a client last week who had recently had 19 happy clients and had 1 particularly “not-a-good-fit” client that was quite critical of them. When your glass is overflowing with positive vibes and one person poisons the water — don’t let it ruin you. Not everyone is for you, not everyone has the proper expectations to have the A+ experience you want to give them. And that’s not because of you or your lack of anything. Wash out that poison, deflect all that juju and refill your cup with knowing what you do well for those whom you have impacted their life positively.
