Weekly Round Up June 19th
FOODIE:
One of my favorite, story driven wine producers Scribe Winery in Sonoma recently shared a fresh recipe for easy homemade gnocchi, asparagus, mint & lemon goodness. Onsite chef Kelly Mariani joins special guest chef Colu Henry guiding their seasonal menu. Let me know if you try, it’s on my list for this week!
AT HOME:
One of my favorite things about coming home is sleeping in my own bed! I have the perfect pillow and it’s always so good to be back. My Ghost Pillow is a cutting-edge cooling pillow so it’s moisture wicking and honestly soothing for a good nights rest. I highly recommend it if you are in the market for upgrading.
BUSINESS:
Are you familiar with Canva? Because Canva could literally replace my graphic design services if I could give you my strategy. I proudly have Brenda Cadman in my circle. You can perfect your marketing and brand skills with her tips — and make yourself appear pretty freaking legit with anything you need to design from business cards to pricing documents to your next promo handout.
BOOKS:
This month in my membership, we are talking about Boundaries and creating them. This year, the overwhelm and burn out is real. At Engage last week, I had the opportunity to hear Alexandra Carter, a negotiation lawyer, speak on her tactics for developing your values and non negotiables before you outline your client terms. It was so refreshing to hear. I highly recommend her book so far Ask for More!
BEAUTY:
Summer is in full swing and I love my sunshine — which means sunburn this time of year. Years ago in Hawaii, we bought this product Burn to Brown which literally is a miracle cream. I couldn’t find it stateside for years but now, of course Amazon has it. Highly recommend keep it on hand. The name says it all!
